A’viands Launches “Naturally Grown”…
Our Commitment to Sustainability |
At A’viands, sustainability is a way of life and we are always looking for ways to enhance our impact on the environment and help offset our carbon footprint.
We take sustainability seriously, as we believe it is much more than following the trend of “going green.”
We are committed to healthy, sustainable communities and our programs and practices demonstrate that. For instance, our “Naturally Grown” program aims to foster relationships with local farmers and co-ops as an effort to sustain our ecosystem.
Some of our other efforts include the recycling of food waste from our venues to be turned into compost, the use of biodegradable grab-n-go containers made from corn, use of alternative chemicals in our ware washing and searching for alternative fuel vehicles for our facilities.
