Gilbert Villas currently holds the position of Resident District Manager for Augsburg Dining services, where he oversees all aspects of day-to-day operations. His goals for Augsburg are to bring quality food to our guests and give them a commitment to service in a safe and clean environment that far exceeds their expectations.
Prior to joining the Augsburg Dining Services team, his past work experience includes working for some of the top Fortune 500 companies in their dining services, as well as being a Corporate Trainer in customer service, training hundreds of employees and managers. He has also had the honor of serving Senators to Rock Stars.
Gilbert is a graduate of Parkland College in Hotel Restaurant Management. He has enjoyed working in both Corporate Dining as well as Higher Education Dining in the following states: Arizona, Louisiana, California, Illinois and now Minnesota.

Chef Brian Stanberry began his career in San Fransico, California, where he was born and raised. He brings to Augsburg Dining years of experience in high-volume fine dining with the ability and knowledge to make Augsburg Dining a successful and industry leader in higher educational dining.
Prior to joining the Augsburg team, Chef Brian was formerly the Executive Chef of the four-star Crowne Plaza Hotel, as well as Chef Owner of the Ole Store Cafe located in Northfield, Minnesota. At the Ole Store Cafe, Brian received the accolade of "Best Restaurant Worth the Drive" from Mpls-St. Paul Magazine and was summoned to cater the Chancellor of St. Olaf College's wedding, in additon to private dinners for the Reverend Jesse Jackson, as well as Senator Bob Dole.

Danny Nguyen currently holds the position of Operations Manager at Augsburg College, bringing with him years of extensive industry experience, including several years in Higher Education. His day-to-day responsibilities at Augsburg includes handling Meal Plans, Website Development, Accounting, IT, and Human Resources.
Danny is a native of Orlando, Florida where he attended the University of Central Florida - majoring in Ecomonics and Information Technology. Before joining the Augsburg Dining Services team, he has previously worked as an Assistant Culinary Arts Instructor for Minnesota State Colleges & Universities (MNSCU), as well a Chef in some of the finest kitchens in the Eastern U.S., training under some of today's highly touted top chefs.

Joshua Ahrens is currently a Retail Manager for Augsburg Dining Services, having been employed with A'viands since 2007 helping in the healthcare sector. He currently oversees Nabo in Oren Gateway, AClub Grille, and Cooper's Coffee Shop in the Christensen Center.
A native of Iowa, Joshua graduated from Le Cordon Bleu (Mendota Heights) in 2005 with an Associates in Applied Science. He is currently attending National American University for his Bachelor's Degree. His previous experience also includes working as a Personal Chef in Eagan and as a Chef on the St. Croix Yacht.

Timothy Herme joined the Augsburg Dining Services team in the Fall Semester of 2009. He brings to the team over 20 years of experience in all aspects of the hospitality industry, specializing in large event planning.
His past experiences have included being the Owner/Operator of Matty’s Delicatessen in Galtier Plaza for 8 years, as well as several years holding the positions of Catering & Beverage Director at the Mall of America, as well as the Science Museum of Minnesota.
