At A'viands sustainability is a way of life, and we are always looking for ways to reduce our impact on the environment to help offset our carbon footprint. We take sustainability seriously, as we believe it is much more than following the trend of "going green."

We are committed to healthy, sustainable communities and we have programs and processes in place that make it happen. For instance, our Naturally program aims to foster relationships with local farmers and co-ops as an effort to save our ecosystem.

In addtion, A'viands is continually searching for better ways to help save the environment. Currently our efforts include the recycling of food waste from each of our venues to be turned into compost, Trayless Tuesday & Fridays in the Commons Cafeteria, the use of biodegradable grab-n-go containers made from corn, as well as our search for alternative fuel vehicles for our facilities.
